Translating the Hexagones Landscape code to form pen plot outputs rather than prints, this work displays a striking result. This landscape, one among many unique outputs, features low-lying, flat hexagonal towers dramatically emerging from a levelled expanse.
The spelling "Hexagones" in the artwork's title intentionally references a precedent project, "Art for Bots". The silver-on-black aesthetic is mesmerising, enabling the pen plots to stand out distinctively from conventional prints. The physical mark-making of ink on paper in this method provides an engaging visual dialogue, one that surpasses the ordinary print experience.
