70s Pop "Analogue" #001

Unique pen plotted generative art, each a 1-of-1.

The classic 70s Pop design, drawn by a robot but "humanised" with code.

Starting to combine different functions in the code to control both the randomised layout of the tiles and the "hand-drawn" effect. Fits in the perfect point between analogue and digital. A process that's digital, but drawn by a very precise robot (called Trevor).

Nerdy details, this is drawn with a limited edition Retro 51 Fountain Pen, with the perfect nib for this kind of work. Not too fine, with just the right ink flow to lay down nice dark black lines.

Special Instructions

The ink used in this work is archival-ink, light-fast and fade-resistant, the paper is acid-free and also fade-resistant. That said, it's still probably wise to frame it and hang it somewhere out of direct sunlight.
