Unique pen plotted generative art, each a 1 of 1.

What happens when you tell the plotter to draw a whole bunch of lines, and the ink runs out before the end? Well this.

Instagram commenters decided these were clouds. This plot was a test one, trying out some new code that broke lines into smaller pieces and then randomly switching some of them off. The idea was it turns more off at the top of the page and less at the bottom.

What I wasn't counting on was the ink running out halfway through, leaving far more gaps than there were supposed to be. Making the whole thing much better than what it inevitably should have been.

Each plot is different, especially this one, what you end up with is totally unique.

Special Instructions

The ink used in this work is archival-ink, light-fast and fade-resistant, the paper is acid-free and also fade-resistant. That said, it's still probably wise to frame it and hang it somewhere out of direct sunlight.
