This piece is the culmination of a robust study of handwriting elements, encapsulating Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" as penned by a robot. A seamless assemblage of 21,934 words on a single A1 canvas, it retains readability up close while beguiling onlookers from a distance with its abstract language depiction.

Each piece is unique even within the limited edition due to the algorithm dictating subtleties in how each letter is processed. This particular artwork is an artist's proof from October 2023, and is a standalone from the limited ten-piece collection. There's an odd quotemark and ellipsis here and there with spacing that needs tweeking, as such this one is going much cheaper than the final limited editions. Also I don't have room to keep two copies!

This is a chance to own something pretty usual, it's not many people who have a full "handwritten" copy of Kafka's story hanging on their wall, although you can save money by writing it yourself 😉
