Unique Riso designs from the 80s Pop Roxy project.
80s Pop Roxy, is a code based art project inspired by the facades of Art Deco themed cinemas that popped up in the 80s. The design was deconstructed into a set of rules that work on a grid, each time the code runs a new design is created. Originally created for the screen, this version has been tweaked to create files and images that can be sent to the Riso printer.
I then hand picked the designs I like and now and then make a print out of them. Due to the nature of riso printing, which is geared toward printing 100s if not 1,000s of copies, a "one off" tends not to be a thing (although I do that occasionally), so this is a limited edition of 10.
