FALLiNGWATER Riso test print

While explore the Riso printer I created a (very slow) algorithm to convert .png outputs from the FALLiNGWATER code into colour seperated 'plates' for Riso printing.

A process that samples pixels from the image and calculates the closest mix of inks colours from the limited range of Riso inks the printer has.

Unlike normal printers, Riso printing has a limited number of inks, making the whole colour separation thing a lot harder.

Anyway, the random sample method of creating 'plates' to print with gives a light grainy result, which is one typical Riso style.

These prints are very soft. A different, separate algorithm creates a 'flatter' 'slabs of colour' style. But these are very early test prints and I only have a handful of each at the moment.

Only four of this design in this colourway exist.

Normal Riso rules apply, ink coverage is slightly uneven, and alignment is subtlety variable.
